
Jeanette M. Lucey is a partner at the firm and a trial lawyer admitted to practice in the courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Jeanette received her undergraduate degree from Marquette University (with majors in History and German) and her law degree from Boston University School of Law.
For more than thirty years, Jeanette has represented individuals, businesses, and insurers in state and federal litigation. Before joining the firm, she worked most recently for a national property casualty insurer. During her tenure as staff counsel, she held various positions over the years including Counsel, Senior Counsel and Practice Group Leader.
As lead counsel, Jeanette has litigated matters involving claims of products liability, construction jobsite liability and indemnification, premises liability, professional liability, fire liability, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, wrongful death, defamation, real estate disputes, dram shop liability, negligent hiring and supervision, wrongful discharge, consumer protection and other tort claims. Jeanette has tried more than fifty cases to verdict in Massachusetts courts. She has also represented clients in arbitrations, appeals, mediations and administrative proceedings.
