Attorney Jeff M. Linares

Jeff M. Linares joined the firm in 2025 as an Associate and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Prior to joining Davids & Cohen, he worked as an Attorney for a commercial litigation firm in Rhode Island.

Mr. Linares received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Haven (B.S., 2015), where he interned at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (N.C.I.S.) while majoring in Criminal justice. He received his law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law where he received outstanding marks in Mergers and Acquisitions and Securities Regulations and participated in numerous business clinics.

Mr. Linares focused his work on civil litigation matters and represented both individuals and corporations in all facets of litigation. Mr. Linares litigated matters including wrongful termination, premises liability claims, construction law, real property, creditors rights, and commercial law. He has represented businesses in several acquisition deals and private offerings. Additionally, Mr. Linares appeared before the Rhode Island Supreme Court and successfully argued and received a favorable ruling on behalf of his client.

He currently lives in Rumford, Rhode Island with his wife and children.
