
William Cornish (Bill) joined the firm in 2025 as a Partner. After receiving his undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts – Amherst, he earned his law degree from Roger Williams School of Law. He is admitted to the state and federal bars in Massachusetts, Road Island, U.S. District Court, District of Rhode Island and U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts. Bill’s practice focuses on defense litigation, and he has extensive experience handling cases throughout the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He has represented individuals, businesses and professionals in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, rental car liability, coverage disputes, uninsured motorist claims, bad faith claims, construction accidents, subrogation, products liability, toxic tort, and medical malpractice. Bill has resolved countless claims through arbitration and mediation and also obtained numerous dismissals and other favorable resolutions for his clients throughout his career.
Bill prides himself on being accessible to his clients and responsive to their needs. Whether a claim is pre-suit, actively in litigation, or if a client simply has a question relating to local law and procedure-expedient, accurate and honest service is his top priority.
