
Kelsey Walkup is an experienced litigation attorney . Kelsey began her practice in Plaintiff’s personal injury work before moving to a top, global insurance carrier where she spent eight years focusing on civil trial work. Kelsey has first-chaired more than 40 jury trials and is proud to boast a more than 80% success rate. Kelsey has also completed dozens of bench trials, binding arbitrations, and mediations. Kelsey has extensive experience in all aspects of insurance defense, from pre-litigation to post-trial appeals, and has represented individuals, small businesses, large corporations, and municipalities in a wide variety of matters including subrogation, construction defect, product liability, and bodily injury. Kelsey prides herself on being organized and detail-oriented, guiding clients through the daunting litigation process.
Kelsey is a native of Providence, RI and was raised in the Ocean State. Kelsey attended Rollins College in Winter Park, FL and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2010. Kelsey returned to New England, earning her J.D. from Quinnipiac University (CT) in 2013. Kelsey joined the Rhode Island and Massachusetts’ bars in 2013, and Connecticut in 2014. Kelsey practiced for 2 years in Arizona prior to returning to New England.
