
Stephen McManus joined the firm in 2020. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, and his practice with the firm is focused primarily in the areas of contract and tort litigation, premises liability, insurance claims, employment disputes, construction litigation and commercial disputes. Prior to joining Davids & Cohen, Mr. McManus served as a law clerk for a Fortune 100 insurance company and worked as an intern at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in the Homicide Unit.
Mr. McManus received his undergraduate degree from Roger Williams University (B.A., 2017) where he double majored in Legal Studies and Political Science. During his time at Roger Williams University, Mr. McManus captained the Men’s Track and Field team and was named to the All-New England Track & Field Team. He then received his law degree from Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 2020) where he was the Chief Note Editor for the Transnational Law Review. While at Suffolk, Mr. McManus was also a member of the National Constitutional Law Moot Court team and was a Tom C. Clark Appellate Advocacy Competition Semi-Finalist.
